Authorities in northwestern Arizona say an arrest warrant has been issued for a Bullhead City woman wanted in a 2011 murder case.
Bullhead City police say 35-year-old Nora Yesenia Sandoval is facing charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
They say Sandoval has been on the run for the past year after she failed to appear for her trial. A jury eventually convicted her on drug charges.
Police say the body of 36-year-old Raymond Sanchez was found wrapped in plastic shower curtains near the entrance of the Colorado River Nature Center in August 2011.
They say the father of five had been stabbed more than 80 times.
Police say Sandoval allegedly accused Sanchez of stealing a large amount of methamphetamine from her.
