Men sought in west Chatham shooting

CHATHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Police are investigating the shooting of a 23-year-old Savannah man in his west Chatham County home Thursday.

The shooting occurred at about 3:14 p.m. Thursday at a Lansing Avenue home. Police said Marcus Andre Moore told the West Chatham Precinct officers who responded that two men went into his home and shot him. He said his 2012 silver Ford Mustang with tinted windows and a Florida tag was stolen after the shooting.

Moore was taken to Memorial University Medical Center for treatment of injuries considered non-life threatening. 

Police and the Metro helicopter Eagle One searched the area for the stolen Mustang.
