A Georgia Tech frat member is apologizing after sending an email to other members on how to bait a girl and have sex with her while partying.
Matthew Petersen, a member of the fraternity Phi Kappa Tau and the fraternity's former social chair, sent his entire fraternity an email titled "Luring Your Rape Bait."
On Thursday, Petersen issued an apology letter to the GA tech community and said he has resigned as social chair.
In the original email, Petersen gives step-by-step instructions on how to talk to a girl, dance with her and make a move to take her back to the frat to have sex with her.
The whole plan revolves around getting her drunk enough that she'll have sex.
Even though the title of the email says rape, in the email, it says not to rape the girl, although it gives specific instructions about where to touch a girl.

"The content of this email was offensive and it should never have been written," said Petersen in his apology letter. "I am deeply sorry for the pain and embarrassment my actions and lack of judgement have caused the students at Georgia Tech and my Phi Kappa Tau brotherhood as well as those who otherwise came into contact with the email."
Reaction from students on campus is mixed. Some found the letter offensive.
"That is disgusting, it makes me feel kind of unsafe about going out to different fraternity houses over the weekend and I just wouldn't go in general," said Jasmine Denizard.
"This is obviously an internal email so I don't think he meant for it to get sent out across the web. I think it is unfortunate it happened," said John Dugan.
Other students like Tom Nanni had a different opinion.
"I think the whole thing is being blown out of proportion. The letter was just a joke," Nanni said.
Georgia Tech sent the following response:
"Thank you for contacting Georgia Tech. This is an ongoing investigation and the Institute does not comment on ongoing investigations. Georgia Tech immediately began an investigation when it first learned of this matter a couple of weeks ago. Georgia Tech is aware of this incident, and its Office of Student Integrity is currently engaged in an investigation to determine the facts. Phi Kappa Tau's national office, as well as Tech's student-led Inter-fraternity Council, are also reviewing the matter to determine whether to take any independent action. The Institute does not condone this type of behavior and continues to provide resources and education designed to create a supportive campus environment for all students, even those who exercise extremely poor judgment.'"
