Members of the State Police Troop D Quality of Life Task Force have arrested a man who is suspected to be involved with the trafficking and sale of narcotics in eastern Connecticut.
Police pulled over a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Lashawn Dismuke of Webster, MA, in Killingly Monday night as part of an ongoing investigation into the illegal sale of narcotics in the area.
Police said they found four plastic bags in Dismuke's vehicle containing about two grams of crack cocaine packaged for sale.
Dismuke was arrested and charged with possession of crack cocaine with intent to sell and possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana.
Dismuke is currently being held on a $75,000 bond and is expected to be arraigned on Wednesday in Danielson Superior Court. Police said this is the 15th time Dismuke has been arrested on drug charges.
