They're big, burly men and they want you to spread the word about breast cancer.
More than 100 EMCOR construction workers, including those from the company's subsidiary, University Mechanical & Engineering Contractors, will wear pink hard hats for the rest of the month.
They're raising awareness about breast cancer while working on a Banner Estrella Health project near 91st Avenue and Thomas Road.
One worker said his sister was diagnosed in 2011.
"I've heard of the 5Ks," said General Foreman Richard Parabis. "I've seen NFL pink. It doesn't affect you until it attacks you personally."
Workers also formed a human ribbon at Tuesday's event to spur women to get screened.
The disease affects 1 in 8 women.
