WATERBURY, CT (WFSB) -

A six-week investigation led the Waterbury Police Department to seize drugs with a street value of $80,000 on Thursday.

According to police, undercover officers purchased crack cocaine and heroin from suspects in the area of Angel Drive during their investigation.

On Thursday, police arrested 13 people on various possession of narcotics charges. Police said the "four main suspects" were 25-year-old Isaiah Wells, 25-year-old James Gannon, 44-year-old Marcel Pierre and 30-year-old Marisol Reyes.

The following drugs were seized:

  • 1455 bags of heroin
  • 405 grams of crack cocaine
  • 190 grams of powder cocaine
  • 184 grams of raw heroin

A 9 mm handgun was also seized.
