DEKALB COUNTY, GA (CBS46) -

DeKalb County police are investigating two shootings where one person died and two others were injured.

The first shooting happened around 11:30 p.m. Tuesday on Clark Drive, leaving one person wounded.

Then, two people were shot on Idlewood Road. One of the people shot died. The other victim was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital and is in stable condition.

According to DeKalb police, the man shot on Clark Drive was Jordan Permenter, 18, who was responsible for the shooting on Idlewood.  Authorities issued a murder warrant for Permenter, who was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say they are also looking for another suspect, Travis Permenter, who is still at large.

Timothy Young said the shooting happened outside his door, and he heard the shots.

"It was disturbing. It was disturbing because, you know, I have kids, you know, didn't want no stray bullets to come in," said Young.

Police said the two scenes are related, but they have not released any other information.
