In their continuing effort to improve the way of life for its residents, the South Holyoke Safe Neighborhood Initiative hit the streets on Saturday morning.
The group's organizer, Ed Caisse of the Hampden County sheriff's department, began the day stressing the importance of the event.
For the second year in a row, several dozen volunteers went out to conduct a survey.
The questions were designed to gain information, to assist in the group's efforts to improve the quality of life in south Holyoke.
Residents who took part in the survey got to enter a raffle to win a new iPad mini.
