According to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, toxicology tests conducted on the body of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooter confirmed there were no drugs or alcohol in his system when he went on his deadly rampage.
Documents were released by the medical examiner's office on Tuesday and showed that Adam Lanza was tested for hundreds of toxins.
"On May 17, 2013, the (Office of the Chief Medical Examiner) released the full toxicology report of Adam Lanza after his father, Peter Lanza, consented to allow the release," Dr. James Gill said in a statement. "The analysis included a search of over 270 medications, illicit drugs and alcohols. None was detected."
On Dec. 14, 2012, Lanza shot his way into Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown and killed 20 children and six adults before killing himself.
