Person of interest ID'd in New Haven club shooting

NEW HAVEN, CT (WFSB) -

New Haven police announced Tuesday that they have identified a person of interest in connection to a deadly shooting inside a popular Elm City club over the weekend.

New Haven police said they are looking for Adrian "Bread" Bennett, 28, who has a last known address of Howard Avenue in New Haven.

Police said a warrant charged Bennett with murder, five counts of first-degree assault and criminal possession of a firearm.

Bennett is described as a light-skinned black man and having short, receding hair and brown eyes. He stands about 5'7' tall and weighs around 200 pounds.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call police.

More than 100 people were inside the Key Club Cabaret when shots rang out inside. Five people were shot and Erica Robinson, 26, was killed.
