A rally will be held in Bristol Wednesday evening with the hopes of protecting public service workers and to protest outsourcing.
The union representing school cafeteria workers said they have been forced to take legal action in order to prevent the Board of Education from outsourcing food service operations illegally and in violation of state and federal laws.
They said the Board of Education reneged on a cost and job-saving agreement.
The rally is expected to be held at 6 p.m. at the Board of Education, and then people who attended the rally will also attend the Board of Education meeting at 7 p.m.
