Coats for Connecticut winter clothing drive kicks off

GLASTONBURY, CT (WFSB) -

Channel 3 is teaming up with Best Cleaners, the Salvation Army and Clear Channel Radio to help get coats and winter clothing to those in need this season.

Starting Friday, Best Cleaners locations across the state will be accepting gently used winter clothing and coats for men, women and children.

The clothing will be cleaned and given to Salvation Army locations that will assist with distributing those coats to people in need.

You can drop off coats at the following Best Cleaners locations:

  • Berlin - 138 Mill Street
  • Bristol - 100 North Street
  • Canton - 1 Lovely Street
  • Farmington - 1684 Farmington Avenue
  • Glastonbury - 2759 Main Street
  • Middletown - 522 South Main Street or 1088 Newfield Street
  • North Haven - 94 Washington Avenue
  • Plainville - 69 East Street
  • Rocky Hill - 2349 Main Street
  • Windsor - 292 Poqounock Avenue
