LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The Clark County Coroner's Office released the name of the man whose motorcycle slammed into a wall west of the Las Vegas Strip Monday.

Medical examiners did not have a cause of death for 22-year-old Christopher Carle, though.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the man on a 2009 Honda motorcycle was riding northbound on Dean Martin Drive at about 3 a.m. Police said the man failed to navigate a curve onto Tropicana Avenue.

They said that was when he hit a cement wall with a chain link fence attached. The motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and later pronounced dead at the scene.

Metro said the incident marked the 90th traffic-related fatality this year in its jurisdiction.

The incident marked the second motorcyclist death in a span of five hours.

Metro police also investigated a deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a minivan near Treeline Drive and Charleston Boulevard late Sunday night.
