Police identify Bridgeport shooting victim

BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) -

Bridgeport police have identified the victim of the city's 11th homicide this year.

Karlhenry Gay, 29, of Brooklyn, NY, was found on North Avenue with a gunshot to the head, police said.

Gay was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center, where he died a short time later.

Police said before Gay was shot he was "involved in an altercation with several other individuals."

The shooting remains under investigation by the Bridgeport Police Department Detective Division.
