A Gilbert festival was canceled Saturday because of the storms, but it has been rescheduled for next month.
Town of Gilbert spokeswoman Jennifer Alvarez said Gilbert Days Parade and Red, White and Blues Festival has been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 7.
The parade will begin at 9 a.m. on Gilbert Road between Juniper Road and just south of Elliot Road.
Parking will be available at the Gilbert Public Schools Administration Building, the Boys and Girls Club, the Gilbert Community Center and the shopping centers on the northeast and northwest corners of Guadalupe and Gilbert roads.
Gilbert Road will be closed to traffic from Guadalupe Road to just south of Elliot Road at Mesquite Street from 7 a.m. to noon. Only local traffic will be allowed on Gilbert Road from Mesquite Street to Warner Road, city officials said.
