The weekend after Thanksgiving is always a busy time at Yankee Candle Village.
Once again, thousands made their way to the village for the arrival of Santa Claus, who dropped in from a helicopter at 10 a.m. on Saturday.
After settling in, families waited in long lines to spend a few minutes with Santa and Mrs. Claus.
One family that has made the trip up from Connecticut for the last seven years told CBS 3 that it's always a fun experience.
Not only was Santa a big hit, so were the horse-drawn carriage rides in the parking lot.
Yankee Candle said this is their busiest weekend of the year.
Santa will be back on Sunday. He will arrive to a mini-parade around the village beginning at 10 a.m.
