One man died after a double stabbing in Springfield early Sunday morning.
According to Springfield police, officers responded to a double stabbing call in the area of 1083 Worthington St. around 4:45 p.m.
Police said when officers arrived they found a 50-year-old man and a 39-year-old man with stab wounds.
According to police, both men were transported to a local hospital. Police confirmed the 50-year-old victim died from a stab wound. They not yet released the victim's name.
Police said the second man remains at the hospital and is recovering from his injuries.
Police are still investigating and there will be updates on this as we receive more information.
