A man was seriously injured after he was struck by a vehicle shortly before noon on Sunday.
The Northwestern District Attorney's Office told CBS 3 that the pedestrian was trying to cross Route 9 but was not in a crosswalk.
The district attorney's office said the driver of the vehicle was not injured and they are cooperating with police.
No charges or citations have been issued.
The incident remains under investigation between Hadley police and Massachusetts State Police.
