Hartford man accused of touching himself on CTTransit bus

Posted: Updated:

A Hartford man was arrested last week for exposing and inappropriately touching himself on board a CTTransit bus.

According to police, on Dec. 2 a woman reported that a man, later identified as Robert Jamell-Roundtree, 43, exposed himself and then began to touch himself.

She said she got up from her seat in an attempt to get away from him, but he followed her to the front of the bus.

When the woman got off the bus, Roundtree reportedly followed behind her and headed towards a bustling Westfarms mall.

She called police, and officers said he was still exposing himself when they arrived.

He was arrested and charged with public indecency and breach of peace.

Roundtree is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on Thursday.
