A former Phoenix Suns player who was rounded up in a crime sweep last week pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Friday morning.
Richard Dumas was initially scheduled for arraignment in Maricopa County Superior Court on Thursday morning on charges of organized retail theft, but it was continued until Friday.
His next scheduled court date will be Feb. 14 in superior court.
He was one of 151 people arrested in a statewide roundup of persons with outstanding warrants that was launched last week as part of what authorities called Operation Grinch Stopper.
Dumas played for the Suns between 1992 and 1995.
