2 arrested for bomb threats in Hendersonville

HENDERSONVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two men were arrested by Hendersonville police in connection with two different bomb threats there on Monday.

Police said Tuesday night that Nicholas Tice, 20, and Marquel Harold, 19, were both arrested for making the threats.

The men allegedly made a threat on Monday morning that there was a bomb at the First Tennessee Bank on Main Street. Later Monday evening a threat was called in about a bomb at the Walmart on North Anderson Lane.

Tice has been charged with three counts of false reporting, forgery, violation of probation, failure to appear, three counts of simple assault, joyriding and two counts of theft under $500. His bond was set at $100,000.

Harold has been charged with two counts of false reporting and forgery. His bond was set at $25,000.

Both are scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 12.
