Home total loss after fire in Easton

A residence in Easton is a total loss after a two-alarm fire Wednesday evening.

The fire was reported in the 100 block of Everett Road at about 3 p.m.

Two people at the home were able to get out of the residence without being injured, fire personnel said.

However, two cats are unaccounted for at this time.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
