Interstate 91 has reopened in Windsor after officials closed it when live wires fell across the roadway Wednesday morning.
Connecticut State Police said I-91 was fully closed southbound between exits 36 and 35B, and only the shoulder was getting by on the northbound side after the incident was reported.
Crews worked to remove the wires from the roadway, and the interstate was full reopened by 9:30 a.m.
Heavy delays are still reported in the area and officials are asking motorists to avoid it if possible.
No other information was released.
