Federal officers said they foiled a woman's attempt to smuggle more than 27 pounds of cocaine into the U.S. from Mexico.
The 21-year-old Mexican national was arrested Sunday at the Dennis DeConcini Port of Entry in Nogales.
The cocaine was worth nearly $249,000.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers selected a Volkswagen sedan for further inspection and found 10 packages of cocaine within all four doors of the vehicle.
The vehicle and drugs were processed for seizure.
The woman was referred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Homeland Security Investigations.
