A woman was rescued Thursday morning after she was stranded on a mountain trail in Papago park for one day.
The woman said she had been hiking and got stuck on a 100 foot cliff Wednesday morning, according to Phoenix Fire Department spokesman Larry Nunez.
Other hikers noticed her and called 911.
Fire units from Phoenix, Scottsdale and Tempe deployed technical rescue teams to reach her. They rappelled using ropes and gear and performed a rescue pick-off, Nunez said.
Crews reached the hiker and found she was not injured. After being evaluated, she was given a ride home
