Authorities in Pinal County are investigating reported animal abuse after a tip led them to 32 dogs in a home southwest of Eloy.
Animal Care and Control Director Kaye Dickson said it was "clearly" a case of hoarding. Animal Care and Control found urine stains on the walls, dogs with matted fur and in poor condition at the home in Silverbell Estates.
The dogs are believed to be poodle mixes, Dickson said.
Dickson, four Animal Car and Control officers, a kennel technician and the Pinal County Sheriff's Office all responded.
The investigation will be forwarded to the County Attorney's Office to determine if charges will be filed.
