An Arizona lobbyist targeted for corruption in his dealings with the Fiesta Bowl was sentenced to one year of probation and community service on Monday.

Gary Husk was charged with using his firm's money to reimburse staffers who made contributions to politicians such as Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer.

In a deal with prosecutors, the 56-year-old pleaded guilty to a single unrelated misdemeanor charge of conspiracy to make a prohibited contribution.

Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Margaret Mahoney also orderd Husk to serve 200 hours of community service.

He has already agreed to pay $30,000 in restitution.
