A Walhalla man has been charged after deputies said he took more than $1,000 worth of DVDs and several action figures from the Walmart where he worked.
According to deputies, Adam Ray Baker, 30, is accused of taking 39 DVDs from the Seneca Walmart since Nov. 1, 2013.
Store officials told deputies Baker had been confronted about taking the DVDs on Jan. 28, the day before deputies were called.
Deputies said a written letter from the suspect was given to the officer by store employees along with video surveillance of several thefts, according to a release from the Oconee County Sheriff's Office.
Baker is also accused by store officials of taking two Star Wars action figures and one Spider Man action figure.
