HEBRON, CT (WFSB) -

A bank robbery in Hebron has police searching for a suspect.

Police said the man struck the Savings Institute Bank and Trust at 115 Main Street on Feb. 18.

It happened just before 9:30 a.m.

The lone suspect implied he had a weapon but did not show one, police said.

Investigators also said he fled on foot, most likely to an awaiting vehicle.

The suspect was described as being 6' tall with a thin build and light-colored goatee. He was wearing a gray colored hooded sweatshirt with a tan colored coat over it.

The coat had a lapel-type collar and a zip front.

He was also wearing dark colored jeans, a green or gray winter hat, sun glasses and white Nike Cortez brand sneakers with a blue Nike Swoosh, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact state police "Troop K" at 860-537-7500 or 860-465-5422.
