A family is without a home Sunday evening.
CBS 3 media partner Mass Live and The Republican reported the home on Whitney Avenue was heavily damaged by fire and water.
The call came in a little after 6 a.m.
Crews from Monson, Palmer, Wilbraham, Brimfield and Wales all responded to help keep the fire from spreading to a nearby house.
The family was safely outside when firefighters arrived.
The blaze, which remains under investigation, took about four hours to contain.
