A Scottsdale mother was arrested and booked into jail on neglect and endangerment charges after her three unattended children asked a neighbor to call Child Protective Services for them.
Scottsdale police said Brandy Perdue, 35, left her children alone for almost 90 minutes Saturday before she began looking for them.
The children, a 14-year-old girl and two boys, ages 10 and 5, knocked on their neighbor's door at an apartment complex near 70th Street and Thomas Road asking the neighbor to call authorities.
Perdue arrived home as police interviewed the children and was taken into custody.
Police said the apartment complex had multiple pools and a construction area just outside the complex that posed dangers to the children.
The children were turned over to CPS, police said.
