Strip mall fire in Henderson causes 10K in damage

The Henderson Fire Department responded to reports of a structure fire near Sunset Road and Gibson Road on Saturday morning.

Firefighters say they arrived at 745 west Sunset Road at 9:30 a.m., and found smoke showing from the roof of a single story commercial strip mall. Crews entered the building from the back of the building and were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

No injuries were reported during this incident.

Fire Investigators say the fire caused damage throughout the business and was accidental.

Damage is estimated at $10,000.
