Parkers Blue Ash Tavern is hosting its first Kentucky Derby Party from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Saturday.

Tickets to the event are $10 with 50 percent of the proceeds going to the Special Olympics program at Winton Woods Riding Center.

We'll have a preview on Thursday's The Xtra.

Admission to the party includes a selection of classic Kentucky fare such as Kentucky hot browns, Benedictine sandwiches, Kentucky beer cheese and more. All $5 mint juleps come with a commemorative Kentucky Derby glass.

Raffle tickets will be sold for chance to win a limited edition print commemorating the 140th anniversary of the Kentucky Derby. There will also be a $10 Derby Draw in which participants draw horses from a hat and win a prize for choosing the Derby winner.

Free dinner and brunch prizes will be awarded for "best ladies' derby hat," "most original derby outfit" and "most stylish gentleman." All prizes and drawings will be awarded at 7 p.m.

The tavern is located at 4200 Cooper Road, Blue Ash.
