Police arrested one individual, who was believed to be intoxicated and claimed to be famous pop-star, Justin Timbelake, Wesleyan University in Middletown over the weekend.
Wesleyan University Public Safety detained one James Tarnas who identified himself to them and police as J.T. Golden.
Tarnas, a Wesleyan student, police said "grossly intoxicated and refused to comply with Public Safety requests for him to leave campus."
Public Safety said Tarnes then became combative with officers, which prompted them to call Middletown Police Department for assistance.
Once police arrived on campus, they found Tarnes in handcuffs and struggling to escape. When they asked for the 19-year-old's name he again told them it was J.T. Golden and he was in fact, Justin Timberlake.
The officers asked again, Tarnes began shouting at them that he was Justin Timberlake and that he knew his rights. It was at this time that Tarnes was arrested.
Once arriving at Middletown Police Headquarters, police found out Tarnes' real name.
He is scheduled to appear in court on May 8. He was released on $500 bail.
