An Appling County man charged with his wife's slaying in January 2013 entered his plea on Monday.
Jonathan Courson is charged with killing his wife Mandy while his young daughter was sleeping upstairs.
Investigators say Courson killed his wife and then faked a home invasion, claiming two men broke into their home, tied them up and killed her.
According to an indictment, Mandy Courson had been strangled with a rope and that Courson looked to collect life insurance funds fraudulently.
Courson pleaded guilty on Monday to several charges including felony murder, filing a false report and tampering with evidence.
He is sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.
