Homes evacuated after gas leak in Bristol

BRISTOL, CT (WFSB) -

Six homes were evacuated after a gas leak was reported in Bristol on Friday morning.

The leak was reported in area of 82 Tulip St. around 11:30 a.m.

There are no reported injuries.

Yankee Gas crews were called to the scene and determined that someone cut the gas line while working at their home.

Residents were allowed back in their residences Friday afternoon.
