Chef Plum Makes Clams with Bacon 7 Chilies

Ingredients --

1 tbls diced bacon

1 red cherry pepper thinly sliced

1 shallot

BEER!!! (Two Roads Brewery pilsner is awesome for this!)

Black pepper

1 dozen clams

2 garlic cloves minced

Crusty bread

Green onions


Directions --

1. In a hot pan render the bacon

2. Add the garlic cherry peppers and shallots to the bacon and fat in the pan and cook down till translucent

3. Add the clams to pan, then pour in all the beer.

4. Cover with a lid and cook on med heat until the clams all open up

5. Garnish with green onions and crusty bread to dip in the broth! Season with black pepper as needed
