Authorities believe the two people found dead in the backyard of their home near 99th Avenue and Beardsley in Sun City died of natural causes.

Deputies with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office went to the home Thursday morning after a 911 call came in about a odor coming from the backyard.

Sheriff's investigators identified the two victims as 78-year-old Mary Ann Highly and 83-year-old Harold W. Daily.

Neighbors said the pair recently moved to Sun City from California.

Investigators believe the two died of natural causes. They are awaiting official cause of death from the medical examiner's office.

MCSO spokesman Chris Guestroom said at this time they do not believe there was any foul play.
