CHANDLER, AZ (CBS5) -

Chandler police say an 80-year-old man missing since Monday morning has been located.

Police said Jose Escandon Guzman was found safe and sound. No other details were provided.

Guzman left his home in the area of Ray and McQueen roads about 11 a.m. Monday, possibly to get on a bus or light rail to see a daughter in Phoenix, police said.

Family members said they don't think he knew where his daughter lives because she recently moved from her previous address near 24th Street and Indian School Road, police said.

Guzman has a medical condition that requires daily medications, police said.
