Two underground explosions were reported in Norwalk Tuesday morning.
Chief Thomas E. Kulhawik of the Norwalk Police Department said they happened in the area of Main and Wall streets.
Main Street between Cross and Wall streets is closed to traffic. That includes Hoyt Street as well.
When crews arrived, they said they found smoke coming from three manholes on Main Street.
Police said there were two minor injuries and that manhole covers were dislodged as a result. Kulhawik also said the damage appeared to be done to some front windows of the Muro's Original NY Bakery & Deli.
The police and fire departments were securing the scene.
Connecticut Light and Power was on the scene and told police it appeared to be an electrical issue. There was no evidence of any gas.
