Police in Hartford were kept busy this past weekend as gunshots rang out once again Sunday night.
Officers responded to the area of Cornwall Street around 11:45 p.m. to find the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound to the neck.
The victim was taken to St. Francis Hospital for treatment, but police called it a non-life-threatening wound. He was listed in stable but guarded condition.
Police said the victim was pursued by the suspects on Cornwall Street. People inside the suspects' vehicle fired at the victim's vehicle. Both vehicles eventually lost control and crashed on Harold Street.
The victim then exited his car and ran to a friend's house for help. The suspects fled through area backyards and disappeared.
This was the third shooting of the weekend for police in Hartford. They responded to two daytime shootings on Saturday, one that left a man dead.
