Police: Suspect told cashier that credit card was stolen

NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Two men have been arrested after allegedly using stolen credit cards at a business in downtown Nashville.

Police say Troy Beard and James Anderson used three stolen credit cards to buy cowboy hats, a handful of 5-Hour Energy drinks and cigarettes at the Tiger Market on Broadway near the Gulch.

According to police, they tried to use a fourth card but it was declined because they didn't know the PIN.

As the men were leaving the store, the cashier says one of them admitted the card was stolen.

The cashier called police, and Beard and Anderson were arrested in downtown Nashville. They are both facing fraud charges.
