Early morning storms have caused major flooding in Stark and Summit County Wednesday.
Residents had to be rescued by boat from their apartments and homes along Constitution. Firefighters from Louisville, Plain Township and Nimishillen all responded and helped in the rescues.
Flooded streets are still making it difficult to get around.
In Louisville, State Route 44 is closed from Lincoln to Woodard Street and West Main Street from Constitution to Gorgas.
The Red Cross has opened a shelter at Louisville High School, 1201 South Nickel Plate Street.
Summit County has also been affected.
The City of Green has many roads closed.

With rain expected again overnight and pop up showers/storms a potential, the City will have road crews working throughout the night to monitor the areas that experienced flooding today.
Road crews and fire personnel will be in contact throughout the evening to ensure the safety of residents.
To report roadway flooding, downed trees, signal outages, and the like, Green residents are asked to call 330-897-6607 before 6 p.m. tonight and after 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.
During the hours of 6 p.m. until 7:30 a.m. tomorrow morning, residents should call the non-emergency fire dispatch number at 330-896-6610. If the situation is potentially an immediate life-threatening issue, call 9-1-1.
