TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

A Toledo father accused of murdering his young child made an appearance in court Wednesday morning.

Samuel Oliver has been charged with aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault and child endangering in the death of his 2-year-old son Dalano. Toledo Fire and Rescue crews responded to a 911 call of an unresponsive child at the Flory Garden Apartments on Nebraska Avenue on June 2. Dalano Oliver was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Oliver was scheduled to be arraigned on Wednesday, but his attorney was not present. The case was continued until next Wednesday.

Judge Gary Cook did set Oliver's bond at $900,000. Oliver would have to post the full $900,000 to be released from jail, not just 10 percent as is sometimes allowed.

Oliver will be represented by defense attorney Ronnie Wingate.
