TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Fourth of July festivities happening across Southern Arizona.

PIMA COUNTY: 'A' Mountain fireworks for the Fourth of July

Tucson Convention Center (260 S. Church Ave., Tucson 85701)
Special thanks go out to Desert Diamond Casino and Entertainment for the donation, which will allow the iconic 'A' Mountain fireworks to take place this Fourth of July in Tucson.
Those who want to watch the fireworks on 'A' Mountain there are two choice viewing spots. 
The Tucson Convention  Center parking lot B (off Cushing Street between Granada and Church Avenue); Parking Lot C (off Granada between Broadway Boulevard and Cushing Street). 
There will be food vendors (burgers, hot dogs, ice cream, refreshments and a beer garden) for those near the TCC, it will be available from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Residents may also watch the fireworks from the lot at 22nd Street and I-10 frontage road. 
Sentinel Road will be closed at noon on Thursday, July 3 and will reopen at noon on July 5, in order to accommodate the fireworks preparations.
Mission Road will also be closed at 5 p.m. on July 4, from Starr Pass Boulevard to Congress Street and will reopen one hour after the completion of the fireworks show.

Tucson Botanical Gardens - 4th of July BBQ
Tucson Botanical Gardens (2150 N. Alvernon, Tucson 85712) 
For $4 per person you can get a hot dog, chips and drink or for $8 you can get a hamburger, side and a drink. 
Admission to the BBQ is from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Oro Valley 4th of July Celebration - From 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Activities to include - live entertainment, Bryan Dean Trio, the National Anthem will be performed by Tucson Desert Harmony Chorus; Little House of Funk.  There will be fireworks as well sponsored by Hilton El Conquistador
The Oro Valley Aquatic Center is also hosting 4th of July activities - relay races, interactive splash pad, watermelon relay diving board contest, as well as a giant water slide.  There will also be a bounce house, tye die shirts, arts and crafts projects and a rock climbing wall.
Food trucks will be on hand - Aquatic Center Snack Bar, CDO Little League Snack Bar, Jozarelli's Italian Street Food truck, Burgers Amore, Fruit Shack Smoothies, Tucson Kona Ice

International Wildlife Museum - military appreciation for the 4th of July.

Pima Air & Space Museum - Fourth of July free for active duty military

Active duty members, their spouses and dependents have the chance to get in free to the Pima Air and Space Museum in honor of the Fourth of July.  The free admission will be during normal business hours (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the last admission at 4 p.m.)  on July 4. An active duty military ID is required for the free admission.
 “The Arizona Aerospace Foundation salutes active military that dedicate themselves so we can celebrate Independence Day, by opening the museum door for the servicemen and women and their family,” stated Yvonne Morris, Executive Director of the not-for-profit Arizona Aerospace Foundation that operates Pima Air & Space in a recent release. She continued, “Watching the families interact with such enthusiasm for the aircraft is an added bonus.”
Pima Air & Space’s onsite restaurant, Flight Grill, will be open as usual. The docent-narrated tram tour ($6pp) facilitates experiencing the amazing outdoor aircrafts over the museum’s 80 acres. Due to the holiday, the “Boneyard”/AMARG tours will not be operated. Pima Air & Space Museum traditionally offers free admission for active-duty military on Veterans Day and Memorial Day, however July 4th is FREE for their entire immediate family.

Marana celebrates the 4th of July

Events will take place at the Crossroads at Silverbell Park (7548 N. Silverbell Road)
Festivities will include jumping castles, food vendors and even a concert in the park, with the Greg Spivey Band at 7 p.m.
The evening kicks off at 6 p.m. with fireworks scheduled for 9 p.m. (weather permitting). 
There will be delays after the fireworks finish, drivers are asked to obey traffic control signs and those directing traffic in the intersections.

FC Tucson 4th of July event
Kino Sports Complex (2500 E. Ajo Way, Tucson 85713) 
FC Tucson will host the Inaugural 4th of July blast, sponsored by CenturyLink.  A fireworks show will follow the game against Albuquerque Sol FC on July 4.  The match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. with fireworks beginning 30 minutes after the end of the game.
Due to the fireworks after the game, parking will be limited, fans are encouraged to get there early and park on the south side of the Kino Sports Complex and walk across the Ajo bridge to the North Stadium. Also on hand will be:  
-WOW! Concessions powered by FC Tucson.
-The eegee's Corner Bleachers and the eegee's truck selling fresh and cool eegee's
-Youth Soccer Fun Zone at the south end of the field
-The Tucson Medical Center Mini Ball Goal Explosion

The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain is hosting a three day event for the 4th of July.  Events will include the Red, White and Bluegrass BBQ and their annual fireworks show.  Each days activities are available to the general public in addition to resort guests.

Tombstone 4th of July celebration 
Medigovich Field - there will be a softball tournament, a round robin and food booths, something for everyone in the family to enjoy.  The event is sponsored by the Knights of Columbus and the Tombstone Fire Department.  Fireworks will begin at dusk.

Sierra Vista 47th Annual 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks Event
Veterans Memorial Park (3105 E. Fry Blvd.) will be where most of the festivities take place, as well as the Sierra Vista Sports Complex (Domingo Paiz, Tacoma St. and Coronado Dr.)
The 4th Annual Pets and People Promenade will take place, at Ramada #3.  This is sponsored by the Cochise County Humane Society.  Registration begins at 7 a.m., parade at 8 a.m. and awards will be presented at 8:30 a.m.
11:30 a.m. to 12: 30 p.m. will be the Salute to the Union at the Centennial Pavilion at Veterans Memorial Park.
Ft. Huachuca will also have military displays set up from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the park.  And there will be all day arts and crafts as well as family entertainment. 
The 47th annual fireworks show is scheduled for 8:05 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The city is hosting its world famous Coaster Race in historic Tombstone Canyon.  Later in the day will be the traditional parade in the Warren section in Bisbee.  There will even be a traditional mucking and hard-rock drilling contest as well.
