CROMWELL, CT (WFSB) -

After hitting seven birdies in a row, Kevin Streelman won the Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands in Cromwell on Sunday.

Streelman, who shot a 64 on Saturday, was at 15 under par. Officials with the PGA Tour are reporting it is the first time that someone has made seven birdies in a row to win a golf tournament on the tour.

Sergio Garcia, Aaron Baddeley and K.J. Choi finished the tournament at 14 under par just one stroke behind Streelman.

Brendan Steele, who was the leader after the first round, and Ryan Moore, who was the leader at 13 under par after three rounds of play, ended at 12 under par.

The 2012 Travelers Championship winner, Marc Leishman, and Brandt Snedeker, who shot 64 on the day, finished the day at 10 under par. Stuart Appleby also shot 64 on the day and finished at 9 under par.

Scott Langley, who was leading after day two, birdied the first three holes but had dropped to 10 under par.

In earlier action, Miguel Angel Carballo shot 63 and finished the tournament at -9. Carballo had three eagles Sunday and according to officials with the Travelers Championship, "Jim Herman is the only other player to do this on the PGA Tour this year."

Keegan Bradley, who had five birdies on the day, and Bubba Watson finished the tournament at 6 under par.  Fan favorite John Daly shot 70 Sunday and finished the tournament at 2 under par.

The Travelers Championship also generated $1.35 million for charity, which was record-breaking support for nonprofit organizations across New England, officials said.
