HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -

Eyewitness News along with our partners at Hartford Hospital hosted a television health special on the advancements in men's health.

The special, titled Advancing Medicine, explores how technology is constantly being upgraded, making it easier for individuals to take care of themselves - especially men.

There are new weight loss procedures, new ways to combat prostate cancer and advances in technology to correct atrial fibrillation.

This special aired on Thursday on Channel 3. Eyewitness News had a room full of doctors including surgeons, oncologists and urologists at the studio to answer your questions after the special ended.

The next Take Charge of Your Health event will be on Aug. 16 at the First Class Barbershop & Salon, which is located at 258 Windsor Ave. in Windsor, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
