A salutatorian made a resounding speech at Wethersfield High School's 2014 graduation.
Greg Corning said he wanted to do something a little different for his June 25 speech.
He recounted his classmates' careers to different songs, beginning with freshman year. It started with Miley Cyrus's Party in the USA.
Corning followed that with a ballad about his sophomore year to the tune of Adele's Rolling in the Deep.
His junior year involved lyrics about the SATs and college visits set to the rhythm of Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines.
For Corning, senior year came in like Miley Cyrus's Wrecking Ball, plugged on like Lorde's Royals and wrapped up with One Direction's Story of Our Lives.
"Congratulations, class of 2014 and best of luck," he finished.
The crowd gave Corning a standing ovation.
