Some Valley veterans got some of their questions answered Tuesday at a resource clinic in Phoenix.
More than 20 veteran provider organizations participated in the all-day event.
"We have a plethora of community resources here in Arizona of individual organizations who are willing to step up to the plate and help meet this need," U.S. Rep. Kyrsten Sinema, D-AZ, said.
"What we've been trying to do is facilitate, bringing those groups together, and requiring the VA to become a more open concept and work with our community partners," Sinema said.
The goal is to do more clinics like this until the VA backlog is gone, she said.
