Get free ice cream and help a good cause today in Raleigh

Posted: Updated:
RALEIGH, N.C. - I scream, you scream, we all scream for (free) ice cream!

Do you like free ice cream? Do you like helping a good cause? If you answered yes to both, you're in luck today.

You can get a free scoop of Denali Moose Tracks ice cream and help the Wake County Salvation Army while you're at it.

It's called the "10,000 Scoop Ice Cream Challenge," and the company will give $1 to the Salvation Army of Wake County for every scoop they give away.

The event runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in downtown Raleigh's Moore Square Park.
